Tuba Concerto Consortium

In 2017 I saw an interview with Sir David Attenborough, speaking of the heartbreaking footage of an albatross feeding her young with plastic. I always knew I wanted to base one of my Conservation Series pieces on the majestic Wandering Albatross, and this Tuba Concerto feels like the right project. I envisage the solo Tuba to represent the elegance and grace of this remarkable bird, with the wind ensemble encapsulating the undulating currents of the wind and sea, currents that are very much their home.

10% of all royalties earned from the sales of the Concerto will be donated to the Birdlife International “Off the Hook” campaign.
